Hardware-in-the-loop Testbed

The Hardware-in-the-loop Testbed (HIL-TB) at FREEDM member institution FSU, pictured above, is a large system of Real-Time Simulators tied to a network with network emulation. An award from the Office of Naval Research (ONR) is funding upgrades will enable the HIL-TB to be used for testing and demonstrating advanced distributed control for shipboard power systems.
