CBBG-soil nails for ground reinforcement and excavation support
A team at the NSF funded Engineering Center for Bio-mediated and Bio-inspired Geotechnics (CBBG) has created an alternative to existing methods to create soil nails for ground reinforcement and excavation support to prevent and remediate structural damage from earthquakes, such as above.
