FREEDM-Circle Diagram of system Constraints

Physical states from the dynamic-system model establish a circle equation for the overall system power constraint for feasibility, while the power-electronics switching imposes the duty-cycle constraints. Both types of constraints are represented by circles, and the intersections of those two circles provide SST operating points as shown here; in this case the SST rectifier is at P=50kW.
