Center for Engineering and Industrial Development

Mission: Generate value in companies, contributing to the increase of their competitiveness, through the development and application of relevant and relevant knowledge, with highly qualified personnel, service vocation and world class standards.

The Center for Engineering and Industrial Development (CIDESI) was founded in March 9th, 1984, having as its primary goal applied R&D and innovation technology projects, specializing in applied problem-resolving.

CIDESI contributes to the development of manufacturing sector of this country by engaging in research and innovation projects, as well high-level specialized technology services, through its facilities in the states of Querétaro and México, the Research and Innovation Technology Park at Nuevo León, and Baja California Technology Consortium at Tijuana. We offer post-graduate studies accredited by the National Registry of Quality Post-graduate Programs (PNPC).

CIDESI maintains effective alliance in R&D and human resource training with such academic institutions as Astronomy Institute of National Autonomous University of Mexico, Autonomous University of Queretaro, National Center of Metrology, Japan International Cooperation Agency, Aachen University of Applied Science in Germany, University of Sheffield in UK, Aeronautical Technologies Center and Tecnalia in Spain, Team Technologies, Texas A&M, University of Lehigh, and University of New Mexico´s Anderson School of Management in the US. It’s the first research institution subordinate to CONACYT to be certified under the AS-9100 B aerospace standard.

CIDESI also distinguished itself by having received the Mexican National Technology Prize, and State of Queretaro Export Award.

CIDESI is a supplier for automotive, auto parts, aerospace, energy, petrochemical, electronics, home appliances and food industry sectors, among others. It’s also an alliance partner of National lnstruments, Texas lnstruments Design House Network, and Freescale.
