Long-time ERC Reviewer Wins Nobel Prize
Donna Strickland, a professor at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada, and for many years a site reviewer at the Extreme Ultraviolet ERC, based at Colorado State University, has been awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics. It is the first time in 55 years that a woman has won the prize in Physics, and she is only the third woman to do so. Marie Curie was the first.
