To carry out research, teaching and technological services activities in the area of ​​chemistry, polymers and related disciplines to contribute to the progress of the industrial, educational and social sector, through the creation and transfer of scientific and technological knowledge, and the formation of specialized human capital.

Throughout its 30 years of existence, CIQA has developed the human and structural capital required to offer the most integrated portfolio of technological services in the country in the area of ​​chemistry, polymers and related disciplines. CIQA supports the needs of technological innovation and continuous improvement of the companies that integrate their target markets and the value chain of various polymeric materials.
CIQA has modern infrastructure that allows it to offer services to the national industry, within the framework of advanced technology. The relationship with companies in the chemical and plastics sector is established in order to achieve the identification of technological needs for the provision of services and the development and transfer of technology.
In support of the chemical and plastics industry, CIQA offers different types of technological services:
Technical assistance
The technical assistance provided by CIQA to companies in the area is of the following type:
Technical support in processes and products for problem solving, through studies carried out in the CIQA pilot plants or in the same companies
Technical support at all stages of the production process from the development and manufacture of chemical products and plastic materials, to obtaining the finished product and its applications.
Support in business projects to improve quality and productivity, as well as the feasibility of new businesses
Analysis and Testing
CIQA provides analysis and testing services in laboratories that work under ISO 9002 and are accredited by the Mexican Accreditation Entity (ema). Chemical analyzes, physical, physicochemical, rheological and biological tests of chemical products and plastic materials are performed, which are demanded by the industry for:
Know the quality of the materials for compliance with the requirements of internal processes and customer standards
Have bases for product modification and development
Identification and prevention of process problems
Training
Training programs are offered for the technical personnel of the companies through which fundamental knowledge is acquired and the technical bases for solving problems in a given area are improved. The training options offered are:
Individual courses with option to the Diploma in Plastics
Individual courses related to various areas of chemistry
Workshops and theoretical-practical courses related to plastics processing
Technological development
Research oriented towards the generation of scientific knowledge and the development of technology applications transferable to the industry is carried out.
Information Center
Technical information services are offered in the field of chemistry in general and polymeric materials in particular. The services offered are:
Recovery of scientific documents, international standards and patents.
Analysis of information on specific topics.
Infociqa-Novaplast, bimonthly alert bulletin with cutting-edge information.
