ECOSUR promotes the use of scientific knowledge in different social sectors to contribute to sustainable, equitable and fair development on the southern border. To do this, it establishes bridges with various sectors of society offering continuing education events, consultancies, consultancies
and services.
ECOSUR has seven institutional laboratories that, in addition to supporting research, offer services abroad:
Instrumental Analysis,
Soil and Plant Analysis,
Bromatology,
Phytosanitary Diagnostics,
Genetics,
Scanning Electron Microscopy
Chemistry.
Regional Presence
ECOSUR has a presence in the four border states with Central America and the Caribbean through five units located in the cities of Campeche, Chetumal, San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Tapachula and Villahermosa.
