Dr. Michael McCorquodale, while a grad student at the Wireless MicroSystems ERC, developed novel all-silicon oscillator clock generation technology for use in cell phones, USB ports, and other small computer devices and peripherals for timing computer operations. He formed a successful company, Mobius, Inc., which was later sold to a large computer timing device provider.
